Additional Details About the Deutsche Post Cross-Border Integration

  • Voiding a Deutsche Post label through ShipStation does not void the label with the carrier. You will not be invoiced by Deutsche Post for unused labels, so Deutsche Post does not require you to void labels that you will not use.

You can still void the label in ShipStation to move the shipment back to Awaiting Shipment and create a new label.

  • ShipStation's auto-tracking feature works only with services that support tracking - Packet Tracked and Packet Plus. Priority and Standard services do not support tracking.

  • ShipStation prints Label Message 1 in the custRef field for Deutsche Post labels. Label Messages 2 and 3 are not supported for Deutsche Post labels.

  • The Deutsche Post services available in ShipStation are not eligible for carrier insurance.

  • ShipStation's integration with Deutsche Post Cross-Border does not support third-party billing.
