How is the Age of an order calculated?

ShipStation's Age column comes in handy when sorting Awaiting Shipment orders for fulfillment. You can sort by ascending order to display the newest orders first or descending value to view the oldest orders first.

ShipStation will display the hours in the order age for up to 72 hours. After that it will only display in days. Order Times are based on the time zone set on your account.

Calculate Order Age in ShipStation

ShipStation calculates order age differently for orders in the Awaiting Shipment and Shipped status:

  • Order age for Awaiting Shipment status = Current Date/Time minus the Paid Date/Time

  • Order age for Shipped status = Shipped Date/Time minus Paid Date/Time
