To ensure your staff ships an order on time, you can add a Ship By Date to your orders in ShipStation. This information will then display in the Order Details and in the Ship By Date column, which you can use to view and sort orders in the Orders grid.
Most stores do not include a Ship By date as part of the order information sent to ShipStation (with the notable exception of Amazon).
To add a Ship By Date on a Single Order:

Open the order details screen by clicking on the order number in the Orders grid.

Expand the Shipment Details section if it is not already expanded.

Click Today under Ship By. Then, select the date from the calendar.

Click Save.
To add a Ship By Date to multiple orders:

Select the order(s) in the Orders grid for which you'd like to set a Ship By Date.

Click Bulk Update and choose Ship By Date.

Choose 1 of 2 options to Set Ship By Date: Exact Date or Days after the order date.

Exact date: Enter the exact date in the Set Ship By Date field or select it via the calendar icon
, and click Update Selection. This is the exact date you want the package to ship.

Days after the order date: Set the Ship By Date ahead by a specified number of days and click Update Selection. For example, set it to ship 4 days after the Order Date.

You can automate this process using Automation Rules so the Ship By Date is set as orders import. Review the Automation Rules article for details.
